Should I use the same lure all day?

Fish behavior changes constantly so your lure selection should too. If you are having no bites it’s likely the wrong presentation. It’s usually how you’re fishing not where.

If you are having followers it may be the wrong speed. They are interested but you are not getting them to trigger on the bait. If you are getting short strikes it could be the wrong size bait. They are hitting it but not fully committing.

Let the fish tell you what to throw. Not the latest greatest lure you’ve bought thinking “I know they’ll eat this.” and you force a bait they don’t want at that particular time.
